In this video, learn how to drive with the Renault EDC automatic gearbox: it features a dual-clutch system, providing smooth driving and significantly quicker gear changes compared to a standard automatic gearbox. There are two coaxial shafts connected to two different clutches, one for even gears and one for odd gears.

They rotate simultaneously, but only one transmits power, and it does so in minimal time. When driving for the first time with the automatic gearbox, keep your left foot as close to the seat as possible, as you might instinctively try to brake with your left foot, causing sudden stops.

When starting the engine, the "P" for parking lights up, and to move, follow the indicators on the gearbox. Once in "Drive", the software will handle everything automatically.

If you prefer to change gears manually, shift to the right and adjust the settings using +/-.
