The Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Renault Megane can be reset by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch. This allows you to turn it to activate the instrument panel, navigating through the menu options by repeatedly pressing the button at the end of the right stalk.

When the maintenance option appears, press and hold the button on the stalk to make the light disappear from the instrument panel; turning the key back will now allow you to switch it off, completing the operation.
