Disassemble the key of a Saab 9-3. Here’s how to disassemble the key and replace the flat battery. Take your ignition key and extract the small key inside it. Pry apart the plastics with a screwdriver until they separate. Remove the flat battery with a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage. After placing the battery in the key, reassemble the two parts of the key fob cover until you hear them click into place. Check the proper functioning of the key fob. Press the buttons to unlock the door locks.
