How to Reset the Oil Service Light on a Saab 93?

After performing the service with an oil change on the Saab 9-3, you need to manually reset the warning light and the associated mileage count. To do this, follow the very simple procedure shown in the attached video tutorial. First, turn on the ignition but do not start the engine. In the central console, locate and press the "customize" button, a menu will appear on the central display. Use the large knob to scroll down and find the "system settings" option. Press the knob to confirm, scroll down again to the "service info" option, enter that section, move to the "reset service ind." option and confirm.
