How to reset the "Service" light on a Seat Leon?

To reset the "Service" light on a Seat Leon, connect a diagnostic computer to the vehicle's OBD port. This port is usually located under the dashboard, near the steering wheel.

Once the diagnostic tool is connected, turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. The computer will automatically detect the vehicle systems and display a menu with various options.

From the diagnostic tool menu, select the section dedicated to maintenance or service intervals. From there, you can access the option to reset the service interval.

Confirm your choice and wait for the reset process to complete. The diagnostic computer will communicate with the vehicle's control unit, clearing the maintenance indicator from the dashboard.

Once finished, disconnect the diagnostic device and turn off the instrument cluster. To ensure the procedure was successful, turn the ignition back on and check that the "Service" light is no longer present.

If the light is still active, repeat the operation carefully following the steps described by the tool.
