How to replace the diesel filter on a Seat Leon? Let's see the replacement in this video. We open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, lift up the front hood. We remove the engine soundproofing panel if necessary; with a socket wrench we unscrew the locking pins placed on the cap that closes the filter (disconnect the cables and the various tubes from the filter) where the filter is located. We extract the diesel filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, reassemble the diesel filter container and tighten the screws (connect pipes and cables). We close the front hood.
