How to replace the diesel filter on a Seat Leon? Let's see the replacement in this video. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet.

Remove the soundproofing panel of the engine if necessary; using a socket spanner, unscrew the securing bolts on the cap that closes the filter (disconnect the cables and various hoses from the filter) where it is located. Extract the diesel filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, reassemble the diesel filter housing and tighten the screws (reconnect hoses and cables).

Close the front bonnet.
