Disassembly of the fuel pump Seat Ibiza and Volkswagen Polo

Model: Seat Ibiza 6J, 6P - Years 2008-2017
Part: Fuel pump

In this video we will see how to disassemble the fuel pump of the Seat Ibiza or Volkswagen Polo, both motorized 1.2, 12 valves. In this type of car, the fuel pump is housed under the rear seats, so we will first remove them. Once removed you begin to see a plastic cap in the shape of a circle: we unclip the cap and we have access to the pump. Disconnect the connector and remove the two fuel pipes (then reassemble them in the right direction): at this point turn counterclockwise to unscrew and extract the fuel pump!
