How to open the key for a Seat Ibiza? Let's look at disassembling the key and replacing the battery. Press the release button on the metal key. Once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key (in the space where the metal key fits). Pry until the cover opens, then remove the worn battery with a small screwdriver. Fit the new battery into the key cover: press the key case until you hear it click into place. Test the operation of the Seat key by pressing the buttons.
