In this video tutorial, see how to replace the battery in a Seat Ibiza with a 1.9 Diesel engine by following these simple steps: First, get in the vehicle, turn off the car, and pull the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a 10 mm socket wrench to unscrew the positive terminal; once the screw is removed, try to distance the clamp. Now disconnect the negative terminal as well. After both terminals are disconnected, use a 13 mm socket wrench to unscrew the nut that secures the battery. Now remove the battery from its location and position the new battery, ensuring it is correctly seated. Secure the battery terminals: connect the negative first, then the positive, tightening them with the 10 mm socket wrench, and reattach the securing nut with the 13 mm socket wrench.
