Indicator Switch Contact Cleaning

If the indicators activate when turning the steering wheel without operating the corresponding stalk, or conversely, do not activate when the stalk is used, it is likely a false contact issue caused by contamination on the tracks where the sliding contacts operate. You can try cleaning the contacts with a suitable spray, avoiding the use of penetrating oils or unlocking sprays. Spray the contact cleaner while moving the lever through all its positions, then dry with compressed air.
