Periodically, you need to replace or alternatively clean the cabin air filter in the Seat Leon with the appropriate products. To remove it, sit in the front passenger seat and open the glove compartment, levering inwards on the arms that act as side hinges, fully rotating the glove compartment downwards.

Now detach the plastic trim of the CD by pulling the lower part towards you. This gives you access to the filter cover, characterised by hexagonal patterns, which you will release by operating on three levers located on the lower side. You can now remove the filter element and proceed with the replacement.
