In this video, you will learn how to adjust the handbrake on a Seat Ibiza 6J: the first step is to remove the plastic cover of the handbrake, the one with the cup holder, to access the handbrake mechanism. This piece is only pressed in, so you can pull it off with some force but also gently. Once removed, you will need a 10 mm ratchet spanner. Locate the screw where you need to tighten or loosen the handbrake. Ideally, when fully pulled, it should give a maximum of three to four clicks. You can then replace the cover by simply pressing it back into place.
