If pressing the buttons on the remote control does not activate the door locks, it is likely that the remote battery has run out. The required battery is a CR 2025, 3 V, which is easy to find. The replacement is also simple, as there is a sort of cap on the back of the remote shell under which the battery is located.

At this point, open the metal key and lever in the appropriate grooves to detach and open the cap, remove the old battery, and insert the new one, ensuring the polarity is correct.

How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on a Kia Rio?

The tyre pressure warning light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Kia Rio can be reset by inflating the tyres until they reach the recommended pressure value: this value is indicated on the sticker affixed to the driver's door pillar. Once all tyres have been inflated to the recommended pressure, turn on the ignition to check that the light has disappeared: if it is still present, it may be necessary to drive for a few miles, allowing the sensors to work and thus turning off the light.
