In this video, we see how to deactivate the start & stop function on a Skoda Superb III: the method used by the youtuber is the shunt/bypass, which uses the side buttons (those of the sequential gearbox) on the automatic transmission. The small module that we connect to the buttons simulates the constant pressure of one of these buttons (+/-) as soon as the car is turned on; in fact, the control unit, as soon as it detects the request to use the sequential gearbox, automatically disables the start & stop system, in order to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent sudden engine shutdowns. This is an automatic, non-invasive, clean, and reversible method. The module can be purchased on AliExpress with the code 1005007361922358 for 11.99 euros, free delivery, and requires a minimum of manual skills for installation.
