How to reset the inspection warning on the Skoda Octavia from the instrument panel.

To reset the inspection warning on the Skoda Octavia, get into the car and turn the ignition to the "on" position with the engine off. On the instrument panel, locate the 0.0/SET button of the trip odometer. With the ignition off, press and hold the 0.0/SET button, and while holding it down, turn the ignition back on. After a few seconds, the service/inspection screen will appear on the display; at this point, release the button. Then, use the confirmation/menu command on the instrument panel to select the reset of the inspection and confirm the operation. The display will update the maintenance interval values, and the service warning will no longer be shown. Turn off and then turn on the ignition again to verify that the inspection has been reset correctly on the Skoda Octavia.
