Let's see how to change the time on the dashboard of the Skoda Octavia III: the method described is the most direct, working from the lever of the speedometer without needing to touch the infotainment system. Let's sit in the driver's seat and locate the reset lever. Compared to the instrument panel, it is located behind the steering wheel, on the lower part of the speedometer's frame. Here, there is a small lever with the inscription "0.0/set," which is the button to reset the trip odometer. Press and hold this button for about 3 to 5 seconds: the central display of the dashboard will show the adjustment menu with the "time" option and a flashing clock. Release the button and then press it again to switch from adjusting the hours to adjusting the minutes. When the value is adjustable, it will start to flash, and you can adjust it simply by turning it to the right or left. To confirm, you just need to wait for it to stop flashing.
