Replace the auxiliary belt on a Skoda Fabia

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007

Prepare to replace the auxiliary belt on a Skoda Fabia. Lift the car on a column lift, remove the lower engine cover panel. Once these operations are complete, remove the belt cover. Using a suitable spanner, loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat (as shown in the video). After fitting the new belt, use the spanner to tension the tensioner pulley; tighten until the correct belt tension is achieved (as previously fitted). Finally, check the tensioner and the belt itself, and tighten everything with a socket spanner.
