Replace the auxiliary belt on a Skoda Fabia

Prepare to replace the auxiliary belt on a Skoda Fabia. Lift the car on a column lift, remove the lower engine cover panel.

Once these operations are complete, remove the belt cover. Using a suitable spanner, loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat (as shown in the video).

After fitting the new belt, use the spanner to tension the tensioner pulley; tighten until the correct belt tension is achieved (as previously fitted). Finally, check the tensioner and the belt itself, and tighten everything with a socket spanner.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
