How to remove the instrument cluster from a Skoda Octavia

Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Skoda Octavia. Begin by disengaging and removing the light switch by pressing and turning it anti-clockwise, then disconnect the associated electrical connector. Next, disengage and remove the switch surround, lower the steering wheel completely, and disengage and remove the lower cover of the instrument cluster. This will give you access to the fixing screws. Proceed by unscrewing and removing the fixing screws, then disengage and remove the instrument cluster itself and disconnect the associated electrical connector, completing the removal.
