How do you remove the door cover panel? Here’s how to take off the door panel on a Skoda Octavia. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Remove the cover of the internal handle, unscrew the securing pins in the handle on the door panel, then use a plastic lever to remove the switch panel and unscrew the pins located beneath it. Detach the securing clips of the panel. Finally, grip the panel with your hands and lever it off the door. Replace the cover panel if it is irreparably damaged.
