Before you start, open the front door of your Skoda Octavia. Begin by prising off and removing the covers near the exterior mirror and the door speaker.

Next, remove the window switch by releasing the retaining clip. After that, unscrew and remove the fixing screws of the door panel, then pull the panel away from the door.

At this point, disconnect the handle cable. Once you complete this step, the disassembly will be finished.
