To replace the key battery on your Skoda Octavia, you only need a common flat-head screwdriver (preferably small). The first step is to remove the physical emergency key from inside the cover. Next, use the screwdriver to remove the back part of the cover and then take out the old battery. Replace it with a new, fully compatible battery, and finally, correctly reposition the back cover, remembering to insert the physical key again.
