Instructions for Replacing the Diesel Filter

Model: Skoda Octavia 1U, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004
Part: Diesel fuel filter

The diesel filter is located near the left front wing, close to the windscreen washer reservoir. Unscrew the fastening screws of the closure flange of the filter container without disconnecting the pipes; then lift the flange, remove the old filter cartridge, replace the O-ring seal under the flange, insert the new filter, and finally tighten the flange fastening screws. A useful tip is to add some additive to the filter container to perform a good cleaning of the fuel system.
