Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 2, 1Z - Years 2004-2012

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side beneath the glove compartment: remove the soundproofing cover by unscrewing the plastic fastening screws, unclip the cover of the cabin filter box by sliding it out like a drawer, and extract the old filter; remove any dirt residue and insert the new filter, ensuring the correct airflow direction, then reapply the cover and the soundproofing. When replacing the cabin air filter, it is also recommended to sanitise the cabin with an appropriate germicidal spray.
