Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Skoda Octavia 1U, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located just below the windscreen, outside the cabin: open the front bonnet, pull off the seal along the rear edge, and unclip the plastic cover just below the windscreen (it is simply clipped in); once removed, extract the old filter, remove any debris present, and fit the new one, ensuring the airflow direction is correct. Then, reposition the plastic cover and the seal that were previously removed. After replacing the filter, it is advisable to also sanitise the cabin with a suitable spray.
