How to Change the Air Filter on a Skoda Octavia III

In this video, we will see how to change the air filter on a Skoda Octavia III: open the engine bonnet and remove the metal clip that holds the air intake hose in place, then remove the screws that secure the cover of the container where the filter is housed, all located on the left side of the cover. Lift it, and inside you will find the filter that needs changing. You can find the new part, for example, on auto-doc under code 1 457 429 994 at a price of £9.45 + £9.95 delivery charges. After removing the dirty filter, clean the container thoroughly from dirt and debris, and place the new filter in its position. Close the cover of the box with its screws and replace the retaining clip of the intake hose. Job done.
