Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 2, 1Z - Years 2004-2012
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just below the glove compartment. Remove the plastic cover and soundproofing material, locate the air duct, and remove the cap to extract the old filter. Clean any dirt from inside the filter housing, insert the new filter in the correct airflow direction, and replace the cap. Complete the installation by repositioning the soundproofing and plastic cover. When replacing the cabin air filter, it is recommended to sanitise the cabin with a suitable germicidal spray.
