To replace the battery of the Škoda Kodiaq remote, slide out the key from the top by pulling it from the plastic end. Once the key is removed from its housing, lever it inside to remove the cover on the back of the remote. Under the cover, you will find the battery, which needs to be extracted and replaced with a new spare part. Insert the new battery, then close the remote with the appropriate cover at the back and reinsert the key from the top.
