How to Replace the Key Fob Battery of a Skoda Scala?

This video shows how to replace the battery in the key fob of a Skoda Scala in a few simple steps. As seen in the images, the operation is very straightforward and quick. First, take the key fob from your vehicle and extract the metal key; using a small screwdriver, pry open one side of the casing to access the battery. The fob uses a flat CR 2032 battery rated at 3V, which can be removed by levering it out with the screwdriver tip. At this point, proceed to replace the battery, then close the casing and reinsert the metal key.
