In order to replace the battery of the Škoda Scala remote control, you will need to press the button located on the top of the device, so that the corresponding key is lifted: once the key is lifted, you can leverage inside its housing in order to detach the panel on the back of the remote control. At this point, the underlying battery can be removed from its slot to insert the new one: you can now close the remote control by inserting the panel and verifying that everything works.
