To change the remote battery in a Skoda, start by removing the key from its slot. Use a screwdriver to lever the key fob cover off from the side without buttons, pulling the cover outward. Once the cover is lifted, push it towards the opposite side of the key slot. Use a small screwdriver to lift out the battery and remove it. Now, take the new battery out of its packaging, insert it into its housing, place the cover on the opposite side of the key, and snap it into place until you hear a click. Finally, reinsert the key into its slot.
