Replacing the battery inside a Skoda vehicle remote is a simple and quick task that can be done independently. Unlike other remote models, it is not necessary to remove the key contained inside, as the battery is located in an external compartment. To replace it, open the remote cover using a flat-head screwdriver. Using the screwdriver, remove the old battery and insert the new one; we recommend using the CR 2032 model for replacement. After inserting the battery, close the remote cover and test its functionality by pressing the open and close buttons.
