How to Reset the Service Light on the Škoda Octavia?

Model: Skoda Octavia 1U, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

To reset the Service light on the Škoda Octavia, press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster while it is off. While continuing to hold it, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. Once it is on, continue to hold the button for a few seconds; then you can release it and turn the knob to the left of the cluster. This will make the Service light disappear from the display, and you can then turn off the instrument cluster.
