To remove the door panel of a Škoda Octavia, pry off the cover of the armrest, underneath which you will find the fastening screws that need to be loosened. After these screws are loosened, you can pry off the window switch panel and disconnect the underlying connectors. Additionally, there will be more screws under the switch panel that need to be unscrewed to free the panel. At this point, you can completely detach the piece from the door to replace it with a new one.
