Rear Shock Absorber Replacement

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007

To replace the rear shock absorber, lift the vehicle on a ramp, remove the rear wheel and the plastic wheel arch liner. Use a hydraulic jack to support the rear axle during the shock absorber removal and remove the mounting pin of the shock absorber from the axle. Next, move to the upper support flange and complete the removal of the shock absorber from the vehicle. At this point, remove the complete support with the bellows from the old shock absorber and fit it to the new one, then reverse the process for installation on the vehicle.
