To replace the rear shock absorber, lift the vehicle on a ramp, remove the rear wheel and the plastic wheel arch liner. Use a hydraulic jack to support the rear axle during the shock absorber removal and remove the mounting pin of the shock absorber from the axle.

Next, move to the upper support flange and complete the removal of the shock absorber from the vehicle. At this point, remove the complete support with the bellows from the old shock absorber and fit it to the new one, then reverse the process for installation on the vehicle.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
