Instructions for Replacing the Stabiliser Link

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007

The stabiliser link connects the anti-roll bar to the shock absorber via a rod and two spherical joints: due to the numerous stresses it is subjected to, the joints tend to wear out, develop play, and become noisy; replacing the link is very straightforward: start by lifting the vehicle and removing the front wheel to access the link's location; then unscrew the upper joint's fixing nut with a pneumatic gun and move to the lower one using a spanner and a torx type to hold the joint's shaft; then reverse the process for installing the new one.
