How to Reset the Service Light on a Škoda Octavia?

Model: Skoda Octavia 1U, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

To reset the Service light on a Škoda Octavia, press and hold the button located in the centre of the instrument cluster, to the right of the small central display, while the cluster is off. You can turn it on by rotating the key in the ignition. Once the instrument cluster is on, release the button to the right of the display and press the button to the left of the display instead. This will allow you to see that the Service light has completely disappeared from the instrument cluster.
