How to Reset the Airbag Warning Light on a Škoda Octavia?

To reset the airbag warning light on a Škoda Octavia, disconnect the yellow connector located under the driver's seat; this should be reconnected after a few seconds. Once the connector has been disconnected and reconnected, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port, located at the lower left of the dashboard near the steering column. This will allow you to completely erase the error from the control unit's memory that causes the warning light to illuminate, finally turning off the instrument cluster.
