How to Reset the Service Light on the Škoda Octavia?

Model: Skoda Octavia 1U, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

To reset the service light on the Škoda Octavia, turn on the ignition by rotating the key in the ignition switch. Once the dashboard is on, press and hold the button located on the right side of the dashboard until the service light is reset. The button on the left side should now be rotated, showing the odometer and trip meter again. You can then switch off the dashboard and turn it on again to verify that the light has been reset.
