How to replace the remote control battery of the Škoda Fabia?

To replace the remote control battery of the Škoda Fabia, press the button located on the top of the device: this will allow you to lift the key blade so you can lever it out of its housing. Doing this will allow you to detach the cover on the back of the remote, giving you access to the battery inside: this can now be removed and replaced with a new spare part. After replacing, insert the new battery and close the remote.
