To replace the headrest on a Skoda Octavia seat, start by positioning the seat in the most upright position possible. Locate the release button on the side of the headrest and press it while lifting the headrest upwards.

It may require some force. Once the button is pressed, pull the headrest upwards until it completely releases from the seat support.

Remove it completely, ensuring to disconnect any electrical cables. To reassemble, ensure the headrest is correctly aligned with the seat support and push it down until it locks into place.

Check that it is securely fixed and moves freely. Be careful when handling the internal parts of the car to avoid damage.
