How do you reset the automatic transmission of the Smart car?

In order to reset the automatic transmission of the Smart, you need to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle: this port can be found on the lower part of the dashboard, below the steering column. Once the scanner is connected, you can remove the error that is causing the malfunction of the automatic transmission; once the error is eliminated from the control unit that manages the transmission, you can disconnect the scanner. Once the tool is removed, you can verify that everything is working correctly.
