Today's guide will show us the main steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the window lifting mechanism of the Smart Fortwo. In order to access the window lifting mechanism, it will be necessary to remove the outer panel of the door, unscrewing all the fixing screws; then we unscrew the fixing screws of the window lifting mechanism, lowering the side window to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, we carry out the repair or replacement of the window lifting mechanism, reassembling it correctly; make sure that the glass is perfectly on the guide, checking its operation before reassembling everything.
