How to open the hood of the Smart Fortwo second series for maintenance? Let's see how to proceed with the removal. We extract the plastic levers placed on the sides of the front grille. Once the latches on the front are released, push the hood panel downwards with your hands; let's detach it from the bodywork (as in the video). Once the part is removed, we carry out maintenance on our car. To proceed with the assembly: let's fix the plastic coating on the front of the nose with our hands and then slide it upwards. Finally we close the lock levers of the front hood.
