Replacing the Outer Door Panel on a Smart

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015

Learn how to replace the outer door panel on a Smart Fortwo. Open the car door to access the screws securing the cover panel. Unscrew the securing screws located in the internal door panel, then detach the rubber seal next to the glass. Use a plastic lever to unclip all the clips of the door panel, prying around the entire perimeter of the door. Pull off the outer panel by gripping it with your hands (perform maintenance inside the door). Refit all the cover pieces after maintenance.
