How to Replace the Engine Oil in a Smart

Detailed instructions - Start by opening the engine cover of your Smart, then remove the oil filler cap. Next, lift the car to create space to work underneath without obstruction. Proceed to remove the cover of the oil sump. This will expose the bolt that acts as the oil drain plug. Before unscrewing and removing it, place a container underneath the plug to prevent oil from spilling onto the floor. Now, remove the plug and wait for the oil to completely drain out. Once all the oil has drained, refit the plug and lower the car. After completing this step, simply top up with new oil, and you will have finished the replacement.
