Smart key battery replacement

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015

Use a small flat screwdriver to pry up the seam of the key case on the opposite side of the key. By doing so, you will be able a little at a time to release the interlocking hooks and this casing will split into two parts. Once this is done, you can extract the electronic card present in the casing and, by turning it, you will find the tiny battery. Pry it out again with a small flat screwdriver and simply insert the new one. Reassemble everything by working backwards. The battery costs very little and is a CR2016, you can find it on the net or in a hardware store.
