Replacement of hydraulic tailgate pistons on Smart 450

Removing the hydraulic pistons of the rear glass on Smart 450 is quite simple: just lift the aforementioned glass and unclip the rings of the same with a flat head screwdriver, inserting the same in the space provided and prying, as shown in the video. Unhooked then in the rear part, that of the bodywork, you can proceed with the attachment relative to the glass by pulling and rotating the piston with your hand. In the same way, to mount the new piston just fit it into the two connections with a minimum of force. If you need to replace both pistons, be careful and support the glass.
