Windshield Replacement on the Smart Fortwo 451

In this video tutorial, learn how to remove and replace the windshield on the Smart Fortwo 451 by following the instructions below. First, remove the front bonnet by opening the levers; then use a T20 Torx screwdriver to unscrew the fixing screws for the grille located under the wiper arms; finish by unscrewing the side screws with a T30 Torx key. At this point, leverage the sides of the windshield with something thin to detach it; remove it and replace it with the new one, applying the reverse procedure!
