This brief and simple guide shows how to reset the maintenance light for the oil change (service) on the Smart Fortwo. First, get inside the vehicle and ensure all doors are closed; then turn on the ignition and press the instrument cluster button twice, before turning it off again. Now turn on the ignition and hold the instrument cluster button for about ten seconds; repeat the initial operation to complete the reset of the service light, making the key symbol disappear from the display.
