In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery in the Smart ForTwo, a very simple and fast operation. Let's start by making sure that the key is not inserted, then let's get to the passenger seat, move the mat and remove the polystyrene cover under which the battery is placed. Then, with a 10mm wrench, unscrew the nuts of both terminals and disconnect them, always starting with the negative one. At this point, with the same wrench, we can unscrew the nut of the fixing bracket and proceed with the replacement, taking care to reconnect the positive pole first.
